Outlaws take Tough Chiefs Squad!
From the start of the first period to the final buzzer, this was a rough contest between these two well developing teams.  

First period had the Outlaws jump out to a 1-0 lead as No. 3 Blake Elzinga went end to end and put the ball past the Chiefs tender.  This was a good start for the North Perth team as they had been on abit of a break in the last couple weeks.  No. 30 Seth Teatero dawned the goalie gear in this tilt and stood tall throughout the game to scratch a shut out on his resume!  The first period saw some great passing by the Outlaws, No. 15 Nathan Coverdale made a nice pass to No. 13 Oliver Sawchuck who had a great release but just missed the net.  No. 4 Zoe Verwey, No. 8 Madeline Ellis and No. 17 Chad Simpson all contributed with good passing and defensive plays.  The Chiefs couldn't mustard too much in the first period as the Outlaws were able to hold them to minimal shots.  The first period had the Outlaws up 1-0.

The second period had the Outlaws take full control netting 3 unanswered goals in less than 10mins!  Goals came from No. 9 Jackson Kuepfer and two from No. 15 Nathan Coverdale. These goals were set up by some great plays by No. 13 Oliver Sawchuck.  Also in to help on getting these plays were No. 19 Emmalin McLaughlin, No. 10 Ryan Heimpel and No. 17 Chad Simpson.  The second ended in the Outlaws up 4-0.

The final period had some great defensive plays to keep the Chiefs out of their house by No. 2 Nolan Vessie, No. 14 Talis Baldwin and No. 6 James Bridges.  Standing tall still was goalie No. 30 Seth Teatero.  The 3rd period had the penalties start to pile up for the Chiefs as they just couldn't get anything going against the Outlaws.  The Outlaws had 5 power plays as they seen the coach from the Chiefs get ejected from the game.  The Outlaws kept their cool and got another goal by No. 9 Jackson Kuepfer, his 2nd of the night.  Assisted by No. 3 Blake Elzinga.  No. 5 Karch Fletcher, No. 16 Brayden Parsons, No. 12 Chloe Eskrick all aided to this big 5-0 victory over this Cambridge Chiefs team.

The Outlaws next game has them on the road to see a good Milton Mavericks 2 team who will be ready to play!
