Off to Owen Sound to play yet another strong team.
Our Outlaws Bantam 1 boys were off to yet another quick start as Mitch Deelstra opened the scoring unassisted at the 13 min mark of the 1st to take the lead as we caught the Owen Sound team napping. However the loud cheers from our faithful fans must have woke them up as Owen Sound came storming back and netted 6 against us before the 1st period finally ended. (Next time fans a polite golf clap could be in order!!) That being said the game now was kind of out of reach for our team but they continued on and managed to get two more goals in the second. Scoring these was Mitch Deelstra who got his first hat trick of the season. Drawing assists on both of these were Rhys Vollmer and Carter Collisson. Owen Sound also netted two in the second along with two more in the third to claim the victory.
