Tough Arthur Aces team in Town vs Outlaws
The Outlaws were looking for a bounce back win Thursday night as a very tough Arthur Aces squad came to town.  Unfortunately North Perth was just unable to mustard much against this strong team.

The first period had Arthur come out strong and score six goals to North Perths one.  Outlaws tender No. 30 Seth Teatero seen a lot of shots in the first period.  No. 18 Travis Beaven, No. 9 Jackson Kuepfer both had good offensive bursts.  The loan goal in the first period came from No. 3 Blake Elzinga who was able to sneak one by late in the period.  This fast Arthur team liked to keep a man high and were able to capitalize on this.  Score at the end of the first was five and Outlaws 1.

The second period was similar to the first where this tough Arthur team notched another five goals.  Outlaws captain No. 3 Blake Elzinga sniped a couple of his own, but just couldn't get much more going.  Assists came from No. 19 Chad Simpson, No. 12 Chloe Eskrick, No. 14 Travis Baldwin and No. 8 Madeline Ellis.  No. 17 Jaxson Beirnes showed some quick feet in making a good interception and ended with a good scoring chance.  No. 7 Bryce Collinson, No. 2 Nolan Vessie, No. 3 Blake Elzinga and No. 11 Brayden Ridley all stepped up on defence and kept Arthur at bay on some good rushes.  Unfortunately, this Aces team just kept coming and the end of the second had them leading 10-3.

The final period seen the Outlaws Captain No. 3 Blake Elzinga notch his fourth goal of the game.  This goal started from a pass from North Perths tender No. 30 Seth Teatero and No. 1 Emmalin McLaughlin.  Arthur was able to counter with another four goals in this period.  This Aces team meant business on this night, however on this night the Outlaws had some players take some big steps in contributing to this team. No 14 Talis Baldwin, No. 2 Nolan Vessie and No. 17 Jaxson Beirnes.

The final score was 14-4 in favour of the visiting Arthur Aces.  The North Perth Outlaws are on the road Monday July 23 in Brantford at the Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre where Walter Gretzky may be in attendance!
