Pre-Season Lacrosse Update/Peewee, Bantam Tryouts, Stayner Exhibiltion Games
Submitted By dmatheson on Tuesday, April 2, 2013
We have had 39 kids sign up for this program.  The group is being split in half with the younger kids going from 7-8 pm and the older kids going from 8-9 pm.

We recognize there may be some with older siblings who want to attend at the same time.  That’s ok but we caution they may not as get as much out of it as they would by attending with children their own age.

Monday April 08 is being held at the Blyth Arena.  Plan to arrive 15 minutes before the time on the floor starts.  Kids and any parent who is helping them dress can go to one of the dressing rooms provided.  Minimum equipment is helmet with a cage, gloves and running shoes that were not worn into the arena.  We can provide a stick for those who need it in the short term.  We would also recommend elbow pads or lacrosse slash guards of some sort because we are playing on a concrete arena floor and slipping and falling is quite possible.

The early session will be done at 7:55 pm sharp which allow time for the younger kids to leave the floor and the older kids to come on the floor for 8 pm.  Kids are free to change and head home at that time.

This is also to remind everyone that the final three sessions are at the Wingham Complex and at the same time on those Monday evenings.

**Please note that Peewee and Bantam tryouts will begin on April 10th and 11th at the Wingham Wescast Arena at 7pm and 8pm respectively.

All teams, please keep in mind that May 4 & 5/13 have been booked for Exhibition games with Stayner in Wingham.
