Registration is Open!
The North Perth Outlaws are excited to let you know that registration is now officially open for the first segment of the 2021 lacrosse season. We realize that the province will be going into lockdown as of April 3, but we will continue to plan on operating a 2021 lacrosse season.  We will delay the start of the season, and adjust segment 1 fees accordingly, once we have a better idea of our new start date.  Fees will not be collected until the first floor time, which allows us to be flexible.

Click the link below to take you to our registration page, read details regarding our registration, and find the link to our online registration portal.  Don't delay as space is limited!

We would like to thank all those who have expressed an interest in North Perth Oultaws lacrosse.  We are moving forward with registration using the Try Lacrosse portal for our first segment of May.  When registering, be sure to click Try Lacrosse.  There will be no payment option during the online registration, and proof of age will not be required at this point.

We have put registration details on the registration page, but to summarize, we will be collecting payment for segment 1 at the first floor time.  For U9 to U21, we set the fee at $100 for the first segment, which we will readjust once we know when our season can begin.  If the lockdown ends in a month, we can simply shorten segment 1 by 2 weeks, and adjust fees accordingly.

We hope to offer segment 2 for a similar or less cost per floor time, but will have to wait to determine that until we know our OLA fees, lockdown end date, and participation levels.  If our program is full, we will be in a better position to charge lower registration fees for both segment 1 and 2. We are almost half full already, as preregistered families were given the opportunity to register first.  Please help spread the word so that we can fill our registration limits this year.

Also specific to U9 to U21, we will be collecting a volunteer deposit of $100 on the first night. (This may be readjusted as well dependent upon the length of lockdown)  A jersey deposit will also be collected, but not until we distribute jerseys to players, before game play begins.  Skills session groups and weekly schedules for each group will be posted after registration is closed.  This will allow us to remain flexible, and be prepared to begin our season as soon as public health measures allow.  Things are ever changing and we are prepared to react accordingly, so please keep an eye on the website, and consider subscribing to receive notifications.  We will continue to post updates as we learn more.

For more information on our plans for the season please read our Lacrosse update - Season Structure article in the news section.  We will be operating as a local league out of Wingham and Belmore arenas.  This does allow us some flexibility and the ability to start quickly.  We anticipate the Huron-Perth health unit will emerge from lockdown in a similar position to where we are now.  We want to be in a position to be ready to go when that happens.

We will continue to add updates in the news, registration, and 2021 RTA (Return to Activity) sections.  Please keep yourself informed and read through them, before the season begins.

And as always, please contact any executive member if you have questions.  For questions specific to girls lacrosse or paperweight lacrosse please contact Amy Burkholder at [email protected]

The season for U9 to U21 will begin as soon as possible, according to public health measures.  Paperweights will hit the floor shortly thereafter, and run for 8 weeks as originally planned.

We encourage players to practice at home and remain optimistic.  We all knew this wouldn't be a traditional summer of lacrosse, but are still planning on delivering an exciting lacrosse season, after missing out on last year.

Thank you.
