The North Perth Lacrosse Association continues to be committed to offering a lacrosse season for the summer of 2021. With the introduction of a new province wide reopening plan, adjustments will be made, but the goal of offering a local league for the youth of the region remains the same.
The tentative season start date is the week of June 14, pending the beginning of step one of Ontario's reopening plan. With the new restrictions being introduced the 2021 season will occur outdoors and begin with at least 3 weeks of team practices. Games will be introduced once step 2 begins. With the province's reopening plan, an indoor season would not be able to begin before the middle of August.
With the colour coded framework no longer in effect, all players in North Perth's drawing area
will be able to participate with the Outlaws this summer if they choose to do so. Players will
no longer be restricted by the colour framework of their individual health unit. North Perth
Lacrosse will be updating all RTA documents to reflect this change and will continue to
update these documents as any new changes are introduced by public health or the OLA.
Registration may be reopened once player limits are determined, according to provincial
restrictions and OLA guidelines. If you have not registered and wish to participate in
lacrosse this summer, please contact our registrar at
[email protected]
We will do our best to accommodate everyone wishing to play lacrosse this summer, but
cannot guarantee a spot to everyone who is not currently registered.
The North Perth Outlaws executive continues to meet regularly to ensure that the season
will start as soon as we are permitted to do so. More details will be posted on our website
and social media once they become available.
We appreciate everyone's patience as we navigate the 2021 lacrosse season.
Thank You
