Outlaws vs. New Tecumseh in a battle!
The Outlaws were in tough against a very hard New Tecumseh team looking to show no mercy and get a win.

You could feel the tension between the fans as they patiently waited for the game to start and North Perth came ready and caught the New Tecumseh team off guard.  The first period had the Outlaws score four goals and silenced the New Tecumseh team.  The first three goals came from the captain No. 3 Blake Elzinga all unassisted.  The fourth game came from No. 15 Nathan Coverdale.  Assisted from Elzinga.  No 9 Jackson Kuepfer, No. 8 Madeline Ellis and No. 13 Oliver Sawchuck put up a wall on a two man penalty kill.  No. 1 Emmalin McLaughlin made save after save to frustrate New Tecumseh.  The end of the first had North Perth leading 4-0.

The second period had No. 3 Blake Elzinga, No. 2 Nolan Vessie, No. 17 Jaxson Beirnes, No. 18 Travis Beaven, No. 15 Nathan Coverdale all get good opportunities while on the power play.  No. 17 Jaxson Beirnes and No. 13 Oliver Sawchuck were all over the New Tecumseh forwards and never let them get into the house.  No. 6 James Bridges and No. 4 Zoe Verwey stepped up and made key passes to get out of the Outlaws end.  The end of the second frame had no scoring change.

Third period had New Tecumseh show some life and were able to get two past the Outlaws tender No. 1 Emmalin McLaughlin. This didn't rattle North Perths goalie and came back and made multiple saves both with kick saves.  North Perths captain No. 3 Blake Elzinga notched his fourth of the game with a sweet pass from No. 16 Brayden Parsons.  The Outlaws took it to a surprised New Tecumseh team and won this one 5-2.  Going into Sundays game had the Outlaws up against a high seeded Burlington 2 team.
